It is completely free to participate in the Air Cadet program. There are no fees or additional charges for any participants. Fundraising activities (primarily tagging and personal donations) support exciting optional and mandatory activities throughout the training year.

While the Department of National Defense supports the core program and uniforms, there are many other expenses that are supported by the Ontario Provincial Committee (OPC) of the Air Cadet League of Canada (the regulatory body for Air Cadet squadrons in Ontario) and the Squadron Sponsoring Committee (SSC).

Another source of funding includes donations.

MAKING A DONATION

The squadron is a registered charity and donations can be made at any time by e-transfer to finance@246aircadets.com, by cheque payable to 246 Canadian Progress Squadron Sponsoring Committee or by cash.
