Orienteering Team

Orienteering is a sport that introduces cadets to cross-country running through a multi-terrained scavenger hunt. The objective is to use a map and compass to navigate as many points as possible in a set amount of time. Cadets can expect to build endurance while learning how to effectively navigate and pace themselves.

246 Squadron has a history of participating in and placing well at the regional orienteering competition, held annually in November by the Department of National Defence. Cadets who place move on to the provincial competition.
