Training
Due to COVID-19 there will be modifications to the 2021/2022 training year. Check the squadron calendar to stay up to date.
The Air Cadet Training program advances cadet knowledge and skills in various areas including aviation, community service, field survival and physical fitness.
The majority of the Air Cadet Program is completed through our weekly Tuesday night training. There, cadets can expect to participate in lessons led by Senior Cadet Instructors, Civilian Instructors, Officers and occasional field experts.
In an effort to provide creative opportunities for learning and engagement, the squadron offers immersive experiences to the cadets by taking some of the training nights offsite. Past examples of this include a tour of the Toronto Pearson International Airport Fire Hall and a “squadron sports night” at a bowling facility. The program also includes several weekend learning and community service opportunities, as well as offsite summer courses and optional team meetings.
